My Silas Avery

I took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather yesterday to do a quick birthday session with my youngest son, Silas.  I can't believe my little man is going to be two years old!   As challenging as this age can be at times, haha like any time we go to the store, it is still such a fun age.  He has such a great personality, loves to dance, read books and is beginning to say so many words.  I love how he looks up to his big brothers and wants to do everything they do.  And as independent as he wants to be, he is still my cuddly baby who loves to give hugs and kisses.   This morning he woke me up by kissing my nose so sweetly and whispering "Mommy!".

I love-love-love shooting at the golden hour, the light is so perfect an hour or two before sunset!  I always try to get clients to schedule around this time, and steer away from mid day sessions where the sun can be too harsh.   Here on the farm the sunset is just magical!

The Radio Flyer wagon is an early birthday gift from his Grandma and Pappy.  Needless to say he loved that too.

And of course, more time on the tire swing, his favorite past time.  This week he started standing up because that is what his brothers do :)

He also took off his shirts because his brothers had theirs off.
